My Bachelorette in Hilton Head, SC
In May 2024, my sweet friend and maid of honor planned a special bachelorette party in Hilton Head, South Carolina. We themed it Last Toast on the Coast & themed all of our activities around exploring this cute coastal town.
On Wednsday all of the girls arrived in Savannah, Georgia and we drove the 30-45 minutes to Hilton Head Island. We stayed here at this beautiful beach house equipped with a private pool, a room for every girl, and a close walk to the beach. The house also came with a beach equipment rental so we were able to have beach chairs and umbrella’s included.
After we got settled into the house we walked to a local sushi place called Fujiyama for dinner & caught up. Some of the girls knew each other and some didn’t so it was a great first night to chat and let everyone get to know each other. After dinner we stopped at Publix and the liquor store to stock up for the week.
Thursday was our pool and beach day! We made breakfast together and hung be the pool in the morning, then headed to the beach in the afternoon to soak up the sun and do a little day drinking. We got back to the house in the evening and got ready for dinner at Nectar Farm Kitchen, a local restaurant. Once we were stuffed we headed back to the house and started watching the new season of Bridgerton over mixed drinks.
Friday was our day exploring Savannah. We drove in and had a very fancy lunch at The Olde Pink House, one of the oldest buildings in Savannah. After that we walked River Street and shopped around. There was a street fair going on so we got matching permanent jewelry and other goodies. Then we drove back to Hilton Head and prepped for our night in. We made homemade pizza’s and played all the bachelorette games.
Saturday was our one crappy weather day so we missed our final beach and did a reformer pilates class and a build your own body scrub class at Salacia Salts in Savannah. We picked up some lunch on the way home and prepped for our big night out. We had reservations at Farm in Bluffton (where Justin & Haley Bieber got married) and then made our way over to Poseidon a club on Hilton Head where we danced the night away and celebrated our last night on the island.
Sunday was a big travel day for us so we had one more morning by the pool and we made some breakfast before heading back to Savannah to fly out.
It was truly such a special weekend and it was so wonderful to have all my favorite people in one house. That is another part of getting married that is so special is all of your people get to become friends and build their own relationships through our wedding.
